Editorial Standards

Everything we publish is written to be accurate, useful, and honest. These are the standards we hold ourselves to.

Research

Our guides draw on established pizza literature, culinary history, and hands-on baking. Where we make a factual claim — about a style's origin, a technique, or an ingredient — we ground it in credible sources.

Testing

How-to content reflects real practice. Techniques we recommend have been made and remade, not merely described.

Review

Every article carries a byline and a reviewer. Our editors check each piece for accuracy and clarity before it is published, and articles show both their publication and last-updated dates.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the update. To report an error, email our editors.

Contributors

Outside contributors must meet these same standards. See Write for Us for details.
